[c/p job]Know thy enemy. If anyone's got info on any of the players here, now's the time to spill the dirt. The better we can predict their moves, the better we can move against them, and manipulate their actions to our own needs.[/c/p job]

Darsnan: IMO, probably the most experienced Gaian player out there. Unlikely to trust anything I say after I shamelessly betrayed him in BotP. From what I've seen, has a strong offensive military style into the middle game, but is very weak on the home front, and if caught unprepared, can be blitzed to devestating effect. If he can trawl worms freely in the early game, can easily go into Momentum mode, but will be reluctant attack with this against the Hive or a faction with the CDF. Seems to prefer Pop Booms via Planned rather than pulling off GA booms.

I would like to caution that these forums will eventually be opened to everyone, so be nice.

Chip Buckner and Net Warrior are pretty skilled.

Net Warrior has good long-term strategic ideas. Don't know much about his micromanagement skills, except that he's pretty good with pop-booms. He understands the importance of infiltration. He generously shares knowledge of the game, which is good for a demo team. He has a good instinct for when he's being "played".

I don't know as much about Chip. He knows how to increase the power of a worm force, although he might rely too heavily on them. (MW's have their weaknesses and should be supported by other forces.) He likes pop-booming, too. He can hold a role-playing grudge something fierce. (He'd probably laugh at reading that.) On the flip side, he's very loyal to his allies.

Also note that Darsnan probably knows alphax.txt inside and out, for what that could be worth.

How well are these players going to magnify the strengths of the Gaians while mitigating the weaknesses?

What members does this faction have that might be able to put up a decent fight against the Spartans? The Angels are pathetic in that regard, IMO, so only this faction can serve as a buffer between us and Sparta if worst comes to worst.

Wouldn't it be a good idea to edit all of those posts to give the enemy the impression that we know nothing about them?... Or atleast blur what we already know about them...

I don't see why the Angels would be pathetic. They have average troops just like us.

I'm talking more in the sense of military strategies. I have no confidence in the Angels whatsoever to be able to put up a protracted military campaign.

Scorpi, it's not like they can read this thread. No need to worry. We just delete it later on.
