Where should bases 5 and 6 go?

My opinion:
Base 5 should go 2 tiles southwest of Gaia's Landing.
Base 6 should go on the original site for base 3, one tile northwest of the head of "Greem River".

Other possible uses:
1 tile southwest of Sentinel
The mouth of Ebbin Flow
Somewhere in the Uranium Flats
Southwest of the Uranium Flats, in range of Sentry
North into unexplored territory
Across the sea
Disband for minerals

I agree with your opinion about the base placement. Time for some ICSing.

As has been discussed, it's not really time for some ICSing .....yet. We have little drone control. Soon. But still, the proposed site gives us a single coastal base, something I was going to suggest had it not come up.

I'd say coastal...a launchpad as an access to the centre, or to do some IoD hunting? Of course, its useless unless we have flexibility to get a gunfoil of some sort...

As of now, we have neither Doc: Flex nor Doc: Mob. As the Gaians, our research suffers early on - it's just fine to get our 3rd tech in 2124. Our strengths right now lie in having mindworms, and being able to run Planned easily. We also need to take advantage of what we can build, and that's formers, since even more bases will cause problems so early. Social Psych fixes that.
