    Agree with plans. Here are some alternate plans and long term plans....

    I'm excited for the day when we have 4 formers working. Not too far off.

    I'd prefer making a CP in Dreams of Green to starting on a SP. But it's an interesting proposition....

    Our foil could take a sail to the nw - w and try to scout the nearby coasts while waiting for passengers. If we continue to scout our own coast we may have to turn back around to pick up the mindworm, etc.

    Pop pods with foil? I say let's hold off until we've landed one unit across the seas. That way, should be come to an ill fate, we'll at least have a pod-popper elsewhere. We do need to keep popping pods though. It's one of our strengths. What do you think?

    Spore Launcher to be police? Looks good to me.

      Formet tasks? - road connections? I would prefer a garrison in Dreams of Green since there is a lot of fungus near it (Ruins and all), and Unity rover would be wasted if used for garrison duty - it is an excellent pod popper - why not carry it across the sea?

        We could. We could land the rover in Hiveland, then come back and pick up the mindworm, which is an even better popper, and drop it in someone elses lands

        Exploring is fine, but we'll be able to do the rest of our continent via garrison. Let's get off island, now that we know the shape of things and have plenty of base sites scoped out. Anyone opposed to the idea of putting the rover on the foil?

            I vote for whichever is closer and faster for the CP Uh Smack, could you use a different color in future? I had to come closer to monitor to see the rute?

              Yeah, sorry. Chaos's images are always too big to repost, and the color get's distored when I chop it up. Ah well. I think you can see the rover and foil routes if you look closely.

                I did see them, at the cost of putting my nose on the screen. So far we have enough base locations for a while, don't we?

                  Let's put it this way: If we had 50000 extra EC's sitting around, we'd still have enough base sites for the next 20 years.

                  One nice trick with a rover and foil is to pop shorline pods with the rover. If MW are unable to be captured, the rover can hop back on the foil.

                    If I zoom out anymore, features are lost. If you want to alter images, though, use BRIGHT colors that don't appear in the original and THICK lines for easy, non-nose-pressed viewing.

                      I don't know how you get those pix uploaded in the first place. 'Poly won't accept them when I resubmit them, edited. And yeah, I will make bigger lines in my drawings. I am sometimes to lazy to fire up photoshop and do it properly.

                        I can't upload them anymore either. They're links to pictures in a directory that isn't linked from anywhere (except possibly my university's local search engine, and I couldn't find it there). The directory's name is our password, so no one outside the faction should be able to guess it, and the directory above it doesn't show a file listing. In time I'll need to clear the pictures for space needs, but not for a while.

                          Switch to Planned – Agreed.

                          Move scout northeast to cover base #3 – Not necessary as long as the former stays adjacent to the base or a unit can get into VS in one turn when roaded. An alternative plan would be to use this scout for police at FL and move the spore launcher to protect DoG.

                          Move spore launcher and artifact west – Agreed but see alternative above.

                          Make doctor in base #2 for 1 turn, if needed - Agreed

                          Move unity rover north to explore coast – Agreed but only for one tile. Perhaps N one tile to see what we find and then the foil E one tile to see what we find at sea. Maybe they can link up next turn and start their sea voyage.

                          Continue moving unity foil northeastish – See alternate plan above.

                          Move mind worm north, to later head west – Why not W immediately in that case?

                          Move new former at base #3 southwest, to start on a road – Agreed + Build Scout patrol in VS per alternate plan listed above.

                          Build road 1 tile east of base #2 – In progress I believe, so continue, right?

                          Change FT production to CP.

                            Opinions? Having proposed the original plan, and not really caring what base builds another police units, I still favor the original, but don't particularly care.

                            Quite possible, and nothing I'd have a problem with. Other opinions?

                            There could be better paths through the fungus to the north, and we'll get more exploration done on the way.
