  • Darsnan's suggestion: CNN type EMag

I've been talking with CEO Googlie and Datajack johndmuller and they both like my idea of creating an E-Mag like the CNN webpage for the next ACDG. Essentially various Factions would be responsible for contributing certain sections of the E-Mag based upon their Factions attributes. So for example the Morganites would be ideal for contributing the Business and Entertainment articles, the Data Angels would be the Gossip Columnists or rumour spreaders, and the Gaians could be responsible for items such as predicting local weather patterns (i.e. meterologists), tips on how to treat native life forms, gardening techniques on Planet, and preachers in regards to not despoiling Planet the way we did on Earth.
Any opinions on this idea? Anybody wanna be an editorial contributor, or responsible for predicting weather patterns over Morgan Industries? ;-)

Transferred here from Off-Poly forum. Seems like a potential idea to me.

Sounds great. I have my plans for starting a Gaian newsletter (like PRAVDA or 3D), but I'd also be glad to contribute to this as well.

When we get to turn 2103 most of the turnplayers will be settled in. That's around the time I'll start putting up roleplay options.

I also have idea for Gaian newletter? Perhaps a co-work or multiple newletters (other factions would get seeing several newsletters from one faction ).

I believe one faction specific news letter and one ACDG wide newsletters should be quite sufficient. That would already require quite some resources I think.

We have Hydro, Octavian and me +others. I would say we have quite enough resources.

I'll happily coordinate, submit for, or effect a Gaian newsletter (I posted a trial run a while ago).
