This is something to discuss, even if we still lack infiltration on Yang's faction. As Liutenant-Colonel Googlie stated in his diplomatic note:
So Spartans expect them and Morgans to survive and a couple of the factions (thus seems Angels and Gaians) will be defeated. Gaians have infiltration on the Hive. I have impression that they appear to be quite in trouble. Note: 16 impact-weaponed units. If Yang concentrates it in one point of his offensive he will cut through defences of some weaker faction without any serious effort. He has like 17 bases now or more. In fact Gaians are taking out a lot of threat towards our faction here.
What should we do in this case? Try to keep the peace with the Hive as long as possible? Use opportunity to hit Yang while he is busy with the war against Gaians? Some serious decisions will be possible when we have infiltration. Meanwhile:
1. We need to start build-up of our defensive forces or make a plan for it.
2. We may be forced to direct some research for an offensive military technology, or just steal it or trade it.
Any thoughts?
Crucial to us is Doctrine Loyalty, as in our opinion Buster has made the Hive so strong that if they get the Command Nexus it's prolly game over for a couple of the factions (we believe that we and Morgan will survive - but, for instance, Yang is currently building no fewer than 16 impact-weaponed units - if he gets the CN (he completes in 9 years), then these will have a +2 morale and be almost undefeatable)
