All went well, just need to find out what to do with both formers on 23.63 now that they finished the sensor array. Do I let them follow the white arrow or the red arrow. The planting of a forest is best in both cases on the designated tile.

The merit of sending them to KC is that they can construct a road to the north for a new base over there. The benefit from sending them one tile east is that a forest can be planted on that Ridge tile, thus offering our new base on the 'Inland Sea' a good tile to start with qua mineral/energy output.
