  • Turnplanning / Turnplaying regiment

I should have started this thread earlier. >_<''

Okay, we have some turnplanners, and we can get a turnplayer on short notice.
We can post screenshots to the fora whenever we uncover new squares, and get advice - for this turn only.

In the future, we'll need a TURNPLAYING REGIMENT.
    ------

What times will the turnplanners be in the IRC channel?
(There's always an impromptu turnplayer - even if it is one of the turnplanners)

New decisions must be made on every new piece of information.
For the rapid scouting that occurs at the beginning of a turn with our scout units, prompting to forum is not fast enough.

We'll need a solid time, when all the players that count are on IRC to make a consensus and a snap decision.
It's also a great time to discuss tactics for the upcoming turn.
    ------

    Me? Local time, 8pm to 6am - or 1000 to 2000GMT
I can set my sleeping patterns to match the online times of others, if so desired.

    What about you folk?

I'm at GMT - 4 right now (Daylight savings)... I'm online from 8am - 5pm local with no SMAC access, and after 5 sporadically. I've got school on Mondays, so after 5 I'll be offline, but should be around any other time...

Last time I checked (just done, actually) we got 2 nominees for the turnplaying position. Shouldn't we poll first who gonna be it?

        5pm to 1am on GMT -4?
        Okay...
        That's 2100 to 0500 GMT.

I'll try to go to bed & wake up later, then.

GEO: Why? Maki and I can reach an agreement when she comes online.
ATM the turn is being played by Drogue and I guess I'm the only one online, so...
