  • Attached is the Morgan Turn.

I had several problems with the the Turn, then thought I was not going to be responsible for posting it. Now i looks like I will have to post it.

As it appears that 'Turn Complete' will be posted if we don't post the turn, I am posting the Turn, reload warnings and all.

As to the integrity of the turn, please feel free to confer with Drouge who can verify that there was little (or no oppurtunity) for mischief on my part. i.e. there were few if any oppurtunities for 'random' events.

    • Unfortunately, it's your own Morgan turn that you've sent, not the Spartan one (yes, I did try to open it, just in case you'd saved correctly but forgotten to change the filename, but, no, it is your 2161 Morgan turn)

        • Sorry

I was in a rush. This one should work.

          • In my last post I didn't change the name, but did hit end turn and saved it as the Spartan Turn over the old Morgan name.

The first upload by me was prior to me hitting end turn.

                • Ack. A million apologies. I thought I was going to have time in those next two hours to do the turn. I was wrong and had to rush off to work without so much as an explanation.
This is not an excuse, but I've been trying to unload the turnplaying to prevent this very thing which I knew might occur as RL has caught up to me.
A million and one apologies now.

                  • A million and two apologies to the team for letting them down when we needed to get the turn out and I said I would but didn't. A million and three to Mead for putting him on the spot here and not covering for him when I said I would. A million and four to Drogue for putting him in the difficult position of possibly penalizing our team for my mistake. A million and five to Sparta for making it difficult for them to confer in a reasonable and scheduled manner which the rules give them a right to.

                    • jts:

No biggie - we're maybe lucky in Sparta having Maniac and me, both of whom are online pretty regularly and can equally well play the turns as needed

We do have a strong supporting cast that like to see screenies of whatever, and that's really where the time goes - copying and posting maps, builds, covert ops info, etc etc. (but it's the same with all factions really)

And these turns are taking more and more time as the game gets more complicated

So again, don't fret (it gave me a chance to go out and play some golf today - unscheduled as it was)

                      • Just to confirm that the Morgan turn's reload message is entirely innocent, and the result of the turnplayer not expecting to be the turnplayer, so having a look at the turn when it arrived.

Anyways, all sorted now, so onto Sparta

A reload warning because my computer froze when saving for the last SMAX exit just before looking into our forum for the final time, reloading SMAX and hitting "Turn Complete"...

If you wanna have a reload-warning-free turn, someone else from the Corporation can pick up the "endturn" save from our private forum, hit "Turn Complete" and post it here - it is identical.
