  • A few suggestions...

For when the Glorious Human Hive acheives victory over the lowly CyCon and united Planet under communist rule.

    The People Have Stood Up!
The pre-recorded announcment by Comrade HongHu and Comrade Rubin of the Hive and Drone victory.

Rubin:Dear comrades! Do you remember how at dawn when artillery boomed, how at night when blizzards raged, we yearned for the day of victory?

HongHu:That day has come. Tears of joy fill our eyes, everyone is jubilant; rivers sing and laugh; mountains regain their youth. All are listening, listening, listening to the voice of Chairman Voltaire which shakes the earth:

Rubin:The People's Republic of Planet is born! The People have stood up!

Followed by a rendition of Without the Communist Party, there would be no New Planet:

    Without the Communist Party,
There would be no new Planet.
The Chrionian Communist Party works hard for the people,
The Chrionian Communist Party is determined to safeguard Planet
They show the people the road to liberation,
It leads Planet toward a bright future,
It persisted in War of Resistance against the CPU.
    It bettered the people's lives,
It rebuilt the arm abandoned by the enemy,
They put forth a new peoples' democracy.
    Without the Chrionian Communist Party,
There would be no New Planet!
You can only curse me to eternal damnation for so long!

We should make this into a new Pravda edition. Looking to the future or something.

Chat with Impater[WrG] when he signed onto #Apolyton about an hour ago:

              Impaler[WrG]> hello
              Arnelos> hey
              Impaler[WrG]> howdy
Impaler[WrG]> congradulations on your new base
              Arnelos> heh
Arnelos> yeah, I saw your note about that in the previous log
Impaler[WrG]> we lookforward to counter attacking it *we hope*
              Arnelos> heh
Impaler[WrG]> also looks like your going to take down the Angels quite fast
Impaler[WrG]> you have noticed are war with the Belivers I presume?
              Impaler[WrG]> *our
              Arnelos> *I* haven't seen a save lately, actually
HongHu is playing them as of late
              Impaler[WrG]> I C
Impaler[WrG]> at this rate we can finish this game soon
Arnelos> good, want to start the next one anyhow
Impaler[WrG]> I am willing to consider surender once you penetrate our Core territory
              Arnelos> I'll relate that
Impaler[WrG]> but as of now we are still doing a desent job holding ya off
Arnelos> I really should look at a save, then. Sounds good.
Impaler[WrG]> Ofcorse their is the Sun Spot activity
Impaler[WrG]> so yall cant win by a Diplomatic Victory untill thats over
              Arnelos> lol
              Arnelos> true
Impaler[WrG]> theirs still what 15 years of that
Impaler[WrG]> dont remember adsactly when it started
Impaler[WrG]> so even if we did surender yall would have to play it out to actualy achice the games victory
Impaler[WrG]> no reason that couldnt be done by 1 person with all the passwords though
              Arnelos> right
Impaler[WrG]> by the way have yall agreed witht he Drones who would get to be have the Diplomatic Vicotry?
Impaler[WrG]> I think most of us would prefer the Hive take it, were still sour on the Drones lack of RolePlaying
Arnelos> I honestly not aware of that. I haven't been in the embassy forum in a while. To be honest, my activity level sank to near zero over the past 2-3 turns because I've been too busy with Civ3 inter-site DG.
Conversation progressed to other topics (mainly the next ACDG) after that.

                    Arnelos, the perfect diplomat.

Says absolutely nothing, but gets others to leak their information to him.

Well, actually... It was not like anyone except me was involved anymore. If I decided to play a couple of turns more...

Actually, I was a little surprised that you guys hadn't actively sought for a dip victory or at least a treaty with the Hive when PUT is eliminated. I hinted so strongly to you even a child should be able to read my mind.

But we did!! (a few hints at least). Your response was that you wouldn't thought that the remainder of Hive wouldn't except it anymore for 'circumstances' (yet unclear).

Why? Would CyCon been expected to vote for a diplomatic victory of Hive instead of Drones then?

With buster's prior promise that a dip victory can be considered I was actually willing to go to that length and try my best for you. But you didn't want me to.
