The CyCon has met the Drones. It is expected that they will obtain our commlink from the Drones and contact us soon. Alternatively we'll be able to get their link from the Drones.

Therefore it looks like now it is a good time to decide what initial stance we are going to stand with them.

I'd rather have relations with the cycon than the uni. Just for logistical purposes (we are far away and it is harder to attack one another).

We should approach them in a friendly manner.

I am all up for friendliness with Cycon. Just that it took 30+ years to do so.

Well I believe we made the right decision in choosing our allies.

The chairman and I had a conversation about the Cycon a long time ago. Our agreement at the time of the conversation was we wanted to pact with them, but we didn't think they had it in them to not betray us if it gave them an clear advantage.
