      Prove me wrong.
I would say the onus is on YOU to prove yourself right.

Anyway, the stars are in the sky, and are much higher than 30 measly kilometers

Only children think the stars are like diamonds in the sky. We growups know that the stars are in the universe instead.

I think Comrade HongHu is confusing "sky" with "atmosphere".

Clearly the stars are not in our atmosphere, but it could be argued that the sky extends much further than just the bubble of air that surrounds our planet.

Webster's NewWorld College Dictionary, 14th edition

            sky
1 [oftenpl.] the upper atmosphere, esp. with reference to its appearance [blue skies, a cloudy sky]
2 the expanse of the heavens that forms an apparent arch over the earth; firmament
3 a) heaven, or the celestial regions b) climate or weather [the balmy southern sky]

Merriam Webster's Collegiate Dictionary, 10th Edition

            sky,
[ME, cloud, sky, fr. ON sky cloud; akin to OE sceo cloud]
1: the upper atmosphere or expanse of space that constitutes an apparent great vault or arch over the earth
            2: HEAVEN 2
3: a: weather in the upper atmosphere b: CLIMATE

Question: why is the sky blue? Is the universe blue?
Appearantly our mastermind does not have a scientific mind. The best argumant for you, suggested by the healer, is to use the heaven definition.

The question I have it does our relationship with the Pirates benefit us in any way? Does it benefit them?

If the answer to the first question remains a no, and the second a yes, then we clearly must cut off such relations. If on the other hand there do exists benefits to be gained from maintaining current relations then we should take the matter more seriously.

All in all, we should not outright indicate that we will end our peace treaty with them, but perhaps just state our general displeasure. Since if we tell them we will discontinue current relations if they do not change their attitude, it might prove to be a sign of hostility on our part in the eyes of the Pirates.

Pirates are offering mobility and a treaty. Should we accept?

Deputy Chairman's sources are about 3 metric hours slower than that of the Office of Military Intelligence.

I've been talking to the chairman it seems that at least 1 diplomatic message has been lost if not more.

But as for the diplomatic communications, it has been decided we will invite the Pirates into a MSN chat with us in order to sort things out in real time. This will put them on the stop to make decisions, and it will also help us clear up any misunderstanding we may have.

The Office of Military Intelligence request to present at the meeting or at least have a little device of us plugged in.

Shall we try and set a date? I wouldn't like to miss this chat at all.

So... what can we offer them for mobility? One thing we CAN'T offer is Loyalty, as they'll give it to the CyCon who will use thier stacked minerals (from the failed VW build) to grab the CN.

Educate the Hive's young generation (and the old but uneducated)

For those people who are interested in knowing how high the sky is, based on the definition of the sky, here’s an abstract summary:

By the time you have reached an altitude of 30 km (on your way into orbit aboard the space shuttle, for instance), you have risen above 99% of the Earth's atmosphere, and by 100 km, 99.9999% of the atmosphere is below you.
For more information, read this article. It is actually quite a nice read.

Also, this page is a student science project that gives you a visual concept of the scales of Earth, Earth's atmosphere and the heights of various satellite orbits. Among the facts it tells you that the Height of the atmosphere is 50 miles.

If you are into alternative explanations about why the sky is high, here’s an interesting story.

                              Why the sky is blue?

The blue color of the sky is due to Rayleigh scattering. As light moves through the atmosphere, most of the longer wavelengths pass straight through. Little of the red, orange and yellow light is affected by the air. However, much of the shorter wavelength light is absorbed by the gas molecules. The absorbed blue light is then radiated in different directions. It gets scattered all around the sky. Whichever direction you look, some of this scattered blue light reaches you. Since you see the blue light from everywhere overhead, the sky looks blue.
Here’re some links about this fact:
Why is the Sky Blue? Learn about the atmosphere and how light scattering makes the sky look blue. MIT used parts of this article in their online class.

This site is intended for students age 14 and up, and for anyone interested in learning about our universe.

The heaven is inside you. You just have to know how to search for it.

Academically, the term we know as heaven is the Old-English translation of the two original words in the Bible - the Hebrew word in the Old Testament is pronounced shaw-may, and the Greek word in the New Testament is pronounced oo-ran-aws. Both mean the same thing - either the sky (i.e. the earth's atmosphere), or the limitless outer space above it, depending on what the writer was talking about at the time. Sky or space are quite accurate modern substitutes for heaven.

"Heaven" translated meaning the sky, the atmosphere:

                                • "For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and return not thither but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater." (Isaiah 55:10 RSV)

                                • "and let birds fly above the earth across the firmament of the heavens." (Genesis 1:20 RSV)

How high is the heavens as how high is the sky has already been answered previously.

"Heaven" translated meaning outer space, the abode of God:

                                • "O Lord, God of our fathers, art Thou not God in heaven?" (2 Chronicles 20:6 RSV)

                                • "No one has ascended into heaven but He who descended from heaven, the Son of man." (John 3:13 RSV)

How high is the heaven as how high is the abode of God?

Well as I said before how could we three dimentional ants understand anything that happens in a higher dimention? I believe height is a measurement that could not be used to measure the abode of God. However, if you force me to give a measure, I would say infinite.
