You watch very carefully who's active. Googlie usually is pretty fast in responding to people's posts. So if he's been active a few hours before, and then someone else posts (eg pirates) then Googlie posts. Then you can guess that Googlie was responding to someone.

If there's a post exchange of Team member -> Googlie -> Team member -> Googlie, then I'm almost 100% certain Googlie would be posting to that team member's forum.

I'm usually clarifying rules.

e.g. when someone posts "Why don't we just conquer a couple of bases and get the techs that way" I respond "techsteal has been disabled - otherwise the CyCon's special ability would be nullified"

That sort of thing. Then they reply "What other special rules are there that we missed" and then I refer them to the ACDG rules thread

Really boring stuff

(usually I'm too weak with laughter reading the Hive's posts to even have the strength to comment. When I get up and fire up the 'net I read all the other factions' forums first, savouring the Hive's as one would look longingly at a fine wine, building the anticipation before finally opening the forum. Gotta make sure that I have enough time to do it justice, though ...

Yes indeed. I paste them to a word file, then search and rename all those wierd identifiers (so that I know who's saying what) then bold the "speakers"

So in fifty turns time I'll come back to haunt you with a quote out of context that contradicts what you're now (then) planning to do
