  • Completely irrelevant Roleplaying Issue

Shall we use this flag (Borg symbol from Star Trek) as new official CPU flag? Or we will continue not having a single flag for both factions and having those boring symbol for CyCon and not so boring for PUT. Anyway this is irrelevant RP Issue but I talked with Mani and Method, they all agreed.

We are the CPU, you will be assimilated!

O, what the heck, why not?

YEA it is for the borg symbol.

If you mean as a civgroup icon, then no. If you mean as our flag, for purely RP purposes (as it seems) then yes

I dont think using a borg symbol is a good idea in times like this. It's too easy for the enemy to attack us about it. Also I think the CC logo is good enough already.

A very good point, and one that I too was considering at the back of my mind. How about something a little more obscure, yet still with the same intentions? If you've heard of the Borg, have you heard of their forerunners, the Cybermen (Drogue may have)?

I thought about it provoking other factions too. But: Hive hate us already as we can surely see from their actions and I do not think that is going to change any time soon, if at all. And if try to attack us because of the symbol they will look as fools. PEACE are meaningless, and Drones are run by Buster, for whom I do not think will be affected by symbol.

Anyway, Drogue I didn`t mean to change CivIcon logo ( it is possible?l) so you vote is counted.

How does 'We are the CPU, you will be assimilated'
then the picture, and underneath it:
'by our diplomatic ways' or something alike?

The core message remains, but is softened well enough. And we might have a few hilarious moments if other faction members overlook the bottom line at first.

Obstructor, I suppose this means I'm changing my vote to 'something different' (I voted pro at first)

We are the CPU, you will be assimilated is not supposed to go with it! It is just my sense of humour!
