    Pi Square Build

    Alright... an issue.

    The production of Pi Square has been set to Recreation Commons, at least temporarily. Constant CP production cannot keep up with the pop growth in that base. Relations with PEACE have once again soured, so we may need to build up our military. Here are our options:

    Continue building rec commons as normal
    Continue building rec commons, but rush ASAP
    Switch production immediately

    And then the issue of what to do afterwards comes up. I am personally in favour of building some military units (especially as IndBase will be done very soon). However, voice your opinions here.

    **this second part is very general, and is merely meant to 'test the waters' so to speak**

    Continue building and then rush when needed would be my preference, followed by a probe.

      I voted probe unit, but that was before I read Corellion's proposal to build a probe defence in Aurora. Therefore I'd like to switch my vote to a military unit (1-2-2 synthmetal skirmisher).

        How about a 2-2-2 Laser Foil? Without synthmetal, it could really annoy PEACE Wait until we have a few before cancelling the Pact of course

          Well unfortunately we don't have Doc:Flex yet. So foils will not be possible for a while.

            True, sorry, more for the future Let's get them though. Ind Auto, Doc Flex, Laser Foils, Non Math, Impact Foils As for the moment, I'll leave it up to our ever wise Prime Function and IAF

              Do keep in mind though that johndmuller mentioned they might go for 3-Resonance armour. So in a while they might not be so vulnerable as we consider them now, and Impact weapons might be insufficient. It's possible our revenge could be realized in a very long term.

                    Well since we are in big need of money right now (we might have to sell tech from the Angels, or give it to the Pirates) I was thinking about delaying the rec commons rush until Pi Square is about to grow. So there might still be some time before we have to decide.
