BTW, why did our base architecture change?

That's a classical problem with PBEM and scenarios: When you open a PBEM or scenario save file, the game doesn't update the faction list located in alphacentauri.inc (IIRC, it could be another name), but uses the one of your last normal save file opened. Thus the screwed-up graphics. The only solutions I know are manually editing the .inc file, or before opening the PBEM file, first opening a normal save file which uses the exact same factions in the exact same playing order.

Edit: Btw, after having checked the latest base name poll, it appears we can choose between Zetaris and Mythical Matrix for the name of this base.
