    2107

    Suggestions:

    Future Base Sites:
    SW of the South Borehole.
1W of the North Western Borehole.
3W of the North Western Borehole.
SE of the Southern Nut. Bonus, on the tile our scout is currently on.

    Former Orders:
Mir Lab: Move along the river towards the Nut. Bonus. Start building a Forest there next turn.
Zoloto Gold: Move north. Start leveling the Rocky/Nut. Bonus next turn.

    Scouts:
NW: Begin moving back down to garrison Uni. Base. Should arrive 1 turn before pop growth, providing police to allow it to work the Rocky/Min/Road square to speed completion of Rec. Commons.
NE: Continue moving NE for exploration.
    E: Pop South Pod.
    S: Move south through fungus.

    Production:
Mir Lab: Colony Pod OR Rec. Commons (Pref. Colony Pod)
Zoloto Gold: Colony Pod OR Rec. Commons (Pref. Colony Pod)

These orders sound generally good -- the only thing I would change is that I would move the northeastern scout east, since this reveals a greater number of tiles. I approve of the idea that colony pods should be built in our two newer bases. Keep expanding, keep the frontier moving outward, and we'll be in a better position to dominate later. As for where to colonize first, I'd recommend the northwest river (3 spaces west of the NW borehole), and the southern site near te bonuses as first priorities. The boreholes, while certainly valuable, don't do nearly as much for us until we lift restrictions.

Nice plan so far. I agree with Adam that the NE scout should move East to uncover more tiles and that our first priority sites for new bases should be the NW river (like outlined above) and the tile where the Southern scout is now. I'd even give preference to this last site (South) because I find it important to secure that position from a strategic point of view.
I watched you fall. I think I pushed.

While I agree with the Southern base point in this instance, we should not generally place our bases at the coast line - we're not playing the AI here, they will get surprise attacks and we need to garrison them heavily.

No chance of the former managing to build a radar array at the spot first, is there?

If we're willing to take them off other duties to do it, we probably can, actually.

Besides the Foil Pod pop (Which itself moves 2 tiles to pop a sea pod, producing sonar data), nothing really interesting happened this turn besides the Drones apparently starting a project.

As for the Sensor array, for the south spot, we can manage it with the Former from Uni. Base. It'd finish the sensor about 1 turn before the CP arrived most likely.

A stealth project choice too. I wonder if they plan to switch for VW down the line...

If the array can be built, should we? It's loss of turn advantage, but it'll give some much needed mil boost to a very exposed base.
