I am voting for a different region name in this poll thread. I am am not sure how this helps democracy because if my first choice succeeds in the first naming thread, I am happy. But because I don't know the outcome of region 1,
I am not sure how to vote here or in the other two region name threads, There has to be a simpler way

What about "Northern Freestate". Otherwise, perhaps there will be expansion far more north than this region, so a more neutral name would be better...
hm, it could be named after its capital (which is Concordia, isn´t it? ), so let´s say "Concordia Freestate"?

The "Jedinica" option seems to be winning, Micha. But the second part of your suggestion "Freestate" I already use unofficially. I call my region Jedinica Vrijstaat, Dutch for Freestate.

Actually, I knew that!
In South Africa, there is (no, there has been) a region called "Oranje Vrystaat", and that sounds good I think.
Now Jedinica is ok, too. Better than ThisRegionIsBelongToUs or something like that...
