lets keep planned for a while still, we havent explored the whole conitent yet, and there is still a huge amount of area to colononize, we should switch to FM once all our bases on the ocnitnet are well established and perferebllay have taken advantge from the pop boom.

Planned! Continue pop-booming, continue exploration. When energy restrictions are lifted, and boreholes and tidal harnesses are boosting energy production, FM will be most effective.

i say still planned...i dont want to colonize the entire continent but i want some colonization before we go to FM

I say planned for a while yet... I no its not a popular idea but the pop boom could give us a core of 16 size bases in relativly little time, then switch to FM. IMHO this more than makes up for the loss of economy as opposed to FM (and with wealth our industry is much improved)

Absolutely! Our research is pretty slow now, getting us a new discovery only every 20 turns or so - it will be quite some time before FM is an effective option (post-energy restriction lifting). In the meantime, our current Planned model enables us to grow our bases significantly (in size and infrastructure). Keep it up - eventually we might benefit hugely from a switch to FM but not right now . . .

How exactly do you intend to keep the local citizens under control? We don't yet have even the most rudimentary Drone control facilities, so trying to control size 16 bases would be a nightmare.

Switching to FM for sure will not improve our drones control...
