    Who's Thud?

"I think the real figures probably are about a million or less." - David Irving on the number of Holocaust victims.

An old P4'er. We didn't hear much of him after the dissolution of that party.

Okay, I'll try to get this straight. Since Thud is the Civ3DG Minister of Science, it would appear that Apocalypse is trying to say that Thud hasn't been doing his job at the Civ3DG too diligently.

Only thing I can think of. This means that since Thud doesn't seem to have time to attend to his duties there, why would he have the time here?

I am the DIA leader and MoS in the C3DG, and Apoc doesn't like me since I take leaves-of-absence at the worst possible times, and make him do some stuff that I should be doing. Like polling the new research order. (I'll do better this term, Apoc, even if I managed to get off to a bad start.)

And I'll do better this term in the ACDG. Considering I didn't do much of anything recently, that's not saying much, but I think I can do a pretty good job at this Science stuff.

I don't mind leave of absenses, since I took them every once in a while while I was MoS. I just like to have a great deal of debate about what to research next, even if it doesn't matter much what is researched next. My tech decisions really had very little baring since we were behind in the tech race, but since many people follow the C3DG to learn new strategies, I wanted to make sure they didn't miss out in the tech part.

Ok now, question to both candidates: Why should we vote for either of you over the other or the xenonbanana? What will your policies be?

well first off, it would be hard for a banana to organise polls

other than that of course, i'm quite devoted to research. in SE, i've always been saying since the beginning to run SE choices which are best for research, and i'm always pushing to trade techs. though my current method of polling techs doesn't exactly work well, i have another way i'd like to try, and i'm always open to suggestions. i think this is going to be the term to start building network nodes, so i'm going to push the DBP for a few of those, aswell as some energy trawlers in the freshwater sea.
