I vote for just SW of that square. Still gets a monolith, and minimizes overlap.

The East seems to have become a lost cause, so therefore I would suggest building a base NE of TKG's preference, in other words SW of the NW monolith.

The East will come, the rover is on it's way there, it would be too dangerous to send out a CP on its own.

I cannot take the responsibility to order 10,000 settlers to head for unknow lands, though. We need to escort them with scouts.

I agree with the DTC that we cant send 10.000 citizens in the unknown without arms. this last incounter with the native flora (or is it fauna i always get those mixed up ) proves that we need better weapons soon and we cant risk sending out CP`s without support from a scout patrol or a rover, but because we lack the infrastructere and tech for building rovers we have to go with scouts
