  • Independents Of Chiron---IOC

So many parties, so little difference.

Do you really want to be bogged down in partisian politics while the other factions raise armies and populate planet with their citizens? I understand that you may not agree with me on certain matters and that's ok. But our first and primary mission is to out perform the other factions. Join the IOC and bring your ideas and talents to the organization. Run for office under the IOC banner and make those that sit back and demand adhearence to their narrow minded platforms take notice. Support me as your military advisor and other IOC candidiates and we will make a difference and protect the future of our civilization.

So If you belong to a party and feel you are sort of on the fringe then come over and share your ideas. An open organization such as the IOC has room for those individuals that are secure enough in their own abilities as not to just follow the crowd. On Earth it was fashionable to follow the crowd but here on Chiron it takes rugged individualism tempered by a sense of duty to faction. Later when other factions are assimilated it can be the IOC that benifits from the growing diversity of the faction.

Remember. A Vote for the IOC is a vote against the chaos of the other parties.

I think the idea is that if you are a solo independent, your chances to actually get to a post are pretty much nil. So what here is is a simple voting alliance, not an idealogical coalition, where people who have no allegiance to a party may try to garner support against candidates who have a party behind them.
Cake and grief counseling will be available at the conclusion of the test. Thank you for helping us help you help us all!

Maybe a change in name is in order, after all there might be some independents out there who don't want to be Independent.

Since the organization does not force a restrictive party line on those that affiliate themselves, they will retain as much independence as they like. The only requirment is to be loyal to the faction and serve it. The IOC only seeks to keep the Independent thinkers from being forced to the fringe by the restrictive and selfish parties.

As an open organization we are always open to new ideas.

The problem with the party system is that appearance is more important than substance. Cool names do not make good policy.
