Don't forget that we also need new nominations for Commissioner's office... I assume Crisler is at least running again, but it'd be nice to have everyone confirm their nominations.

Maybe we should start a new thread for the nominations, because technically this is not the 1st term, but second... unless the current term is "zeroth".

i would consider this the 0th term.

i believe this may have been discussed before, but IIRC the way they did it in Civ was nominations began on the 23rd or 24th of the month, went on for 4 days, and then elections ran from the 27th or 28th to the 30th or 31st. the new cabinet would begin play on the 1st.

For the record I plan to run again for office during the next election. With any luck I can pull two quick terms then sit back and enjoy watching everyone else vie for office. :-)

Remeber a vote for me next election means I am out of everyones hair soner :-) ROFL

what do you mean 'technically'?

We just elected Commissioner and Alpha, which kind of makes this month the first term, and september would be the second term. The director nominations in this thread are in this sense for second term.

Well, we can always say so, but then you have to call the current term something else than "first".

I donnu if i can post it here but i dont no where else......because I am running for DoD i want to know what the candidates for DoS will be doing to ensure those vital early game military techs. like armor-2 and attack-2 and the rover?

As a rival candidate I would like to know the same thing. As far as I can tell I would be surprised if armor is pushed unless someone helps it along a little.
