We made all the decsions ages ago, and the endless repolls by those who didn't get what they wanted the first time are dull.

The only reason there has been any contention is that some people are moaning about what the polled options necessitate. You'd think that an option that wins a poll is the choice to go with. But NO, there has to be all this stalling for no reason other than people are so lazy that they don't want to swap a simple text file or two over.
Why is that a problem? The choices have been made! Live with it!
Choices have been made by whom, Mr WIA? Each and every poll I saw regarding whether we should go with CMN only changes I believe the result are definitive that it should be CMN only changes. So there should indeed be no problem. And some people should indeed start to accept the fact and try live with it.

The result, although tied, is 22/29 = 76% for changing. No ambiguity there.
So we have two separate threads, with effectively three polls in them, where the results are very clear. Yet it is claimed this is not what has been decided?
Further, so far we have had 20 voters on the new poll, which does not directly mention that one of the options invalidates the results of these previous polls. 20 voters, when the least number of voters in favour of changing one of these things is 16. Only 12 votes here so far invalidate the results of polls voted in by 16-20 people.
The reason I am kicking up such a fuss is that I do not want to see these poll results ignored as if they never happened. Maybe opinions have changed, but this poll does not directly gauge that. This is a DEMOCRACY game fer Chrissake. Until there is a repoll of the options that have already been decided with a different result we will NOT ignore democratically taken decisions. And I thought we were trying to avoid repolling things constantly? Or does that only apply when some people don't get their way the first time around?
There is no use to go back in time MWIA. If we are going back to the first poll I believe we decided no major changes are to be made the the SMAX core rules. Then some people started to make the others polls anyway and got conflicting results. Then other people complained about it. Then more polls are created.
There will always been people who don't get their way, no matter what we decide. We just need to really make sure we know what is it that most people want.

That's not entirely correct. That second poll assumed a decrease by two MPs was a given, and then came the question if we should stick to a reduction by two, or go even one further. So among those voting for a reduction by two there might be some people who would actually have preferred no change at all.
However the fact remains of course that in the first poll 74% voted in favour of change, so there is indeed a democratic majority for reducing chopper power somehow.
But again that poll has not clarified that this would require additional changes that everybody who plays the turn would have to make in their pcs. For example I voted for reducing chopper ranges, without realizing that point. If you redo the poll, I would vote otherwise.

I see what you mean, but these polls I mention were only a couple of weeks ago. Hardly distant past, and long after much of the initial discussion was finished. They should not be ignored so casually.

But of course! I am getting used to it. However I can get over that, but I will not stand by idly whilst polls are ignored.

YES! This poll was set up in an atmosphere where all the drawbacks to making non-CMN only changes were made clear. This poll does not say that, if passed, we would have to renege on the previous poll decisions. Thus this poll should not automatically overrule them. For those who voted for the changes and then in this poll voted for CMN-only changes, does that mean they changed their mind? That they voted without knowing exactly what the consequences of that choice were? That they voted to follow what most others were voting for? We cannot assume any of these.
I just want this game to start democratically. Where there are two previous polls with more voters participating, a single poll that indirectly contradicts those results should NOT take precedence without further clarification. From this poll it is not clear at all what everyone wants.
