Jamski, please stop talking like that. This is an insult to all the people who has seriously discussed this idea, which is a good idea in my opinion, whether we decide to adopt it or not in the end.

What I mean is badger poo is the idea of having the ToB as one of the 7 factions on the map. Having it as an 8th faction is fine, as then we can ignore it and let it die its predicted death (or use it to boost our post counts with spam) entirely as we wish.

This is it, con. The faction would have had a single city, and would have had prizes/competitions etc for factions of ECs or other things.

A shame really, if there was a faction I was interested in...

But why wouldn't it still work with a Virtual City?

(Unless you wanted a competition, for example, that rewarded the first faction to reach your city with, say, an Alien Artifact as a gift, with 300 ec's. Something like that?)

The only difference with a VC would be that you coundn't do anything tangible in the game - it would have to be game-contextual but independent

Why couldn't you still do something tangible? Just name a landmark as the Tower of Babel and a certain radius around it as all neautral zone for unit trading, contests, etc.

Just ask Buster to plug it in somewhere centrally located.

Then have him activate it on the map for everybody possibly.

So let me see if I got this straight, this would be primarily for MWIA and maybe a few others to parrticipate mainly for role play as opposed to actually actively participating like a regular faction.
