It looked like there was a problem with the time - there is some kind of irregularity where the time-of-day on the system jumps ahead (or behind, whatever makes sense) and the spam-guard becomes suspicious when it sees people trying to post before their previous post, let alone too soon after it. There was a time when it happened quite frequently; hopefully that time hasn't jumped ahead to the here-and-now. -
You are right. The system time jumped for me too. It is now 1 hour faster than my pc clock.Be good, and if at first you don't succeed, perhaps failure will be back in fashion soon. -- teh Spamski

Markos just changed the time due to daylight saving.
I don't think that was related to server problems...I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).Comment

Daylight savings just stopped here. Now the time that the server claims is GMT +10 seems to be GMT +11.Trithemius

If it is that the forum doesn't except new possages with a '30 sec' warning, I have (had, hopefully) the same problem this morning (first time I log in since summer time switch).Comment

My mistake, it appears that the 30 second warning is indeed related to the (apparently continuously) changing Apolyton server clocks.Originally posted by Kassiopeia
I've gotten the "30 seconds" notice for almost an hour. I suspect it's because the 30 secs are determined from the clock and therefore when I posted at n:58:00 it's waiting for n:58:30 to take place, but it rolled over to n-1:58:15 in the middle so that it takes much more than just thirty seconds. If this message goes through (with Poly time finally at over n:58:30) it supports my theory. I already tried to send this five and two minutes earlier but to no avail.I'm building a wagon!
