Ahhh, I use a Boston Shaker. That is made up of a steel body and a glass, that fits just inside the rim of the body. You put all the ingredients and ice into the shaker glass, and then plant the body on top of it, forming a seal. Then you shake it. To pour it without getting the ice in the drink, you pull the glass half out, forming a small opening, and allow the liquid to flow through that into the glass.

A green olive is always put in a normal martini. Vodka martini's can be served with a green olive or an orange twist.
