This also breaches the rules Voltaire. I know it was unintentional, but that does not reduce the harm it may cause. This is the 3rd breach of the rules you have made that involve the CyCon too.

How is this a breach? Forgive my ignorance.

You have informed the other factions of a link between our factions. What you wrote was up long enough that we have a copy of it, so other factions could too. Moreover, the simple thread title implies that there is something to do with the CyCon and PEACE together. It is communication with other factions before you have met in game. It was unintentional, that is true, however that does not diminish the harm to us that other factions may know a little, or if they read your post a lot, about our diplomacy.

I would ask to delete this thread, but moderators are very slow when it comes to doing something for the democracy game, so it probably won't help.

Sorry if I seem a bit rude, I do not mean to be, it is just a little worrying the events of today, and even if Googlie decides that because it was unintentional, it does not need sanctions, we have still lost out. This damages our diplomactic strategy greatly.

I have requested this thread be deleted too. I would like to offer our sincere apology. I would agree with everything function Drogue commented that this is an unfortunate mistake. I know this may not help but I still would like to offer my full believe that this was done unintentionally. I hope the fact that the posts were up only for 7 minutes and if this thread will be deleted soon would minimize the harm as best as possible.

I would also like to point out that this actually does a lot of harm to the Hive itself for its intention was greatly exposed. Of course it does not reduce any harm that it has done to you and does not elieviate the responsibility the Hive needs to take.

I believe them. I have known Voltaire through the DG for sometime, and both he and the other Hive members I know seem honest and trsutworthy. I have no reason to suspect that they did this intentionally. Indeed, why would they? How would it help them if others know of our situations? Knowledge is valuble, they know, why would they want to tell others.

Therefore I have no trouble believing that this thread was a complete accident. The only concern I have is how the information was gathered. However I have no reason to disbelieve their explanation for that either, and I would not want this to sour any future relations at all.

This reminds me when googliegod appeared in my dream and gave me a sentence translated from certain binary codes ... What happy memories ...

Oh one time, it was only one time that I (and yes 'I', not the Hive) accidentally broke the rules in a communiqué to Drogue (since the line between in-game planning and general discussion was unclear). I hardly call that constantly, particularly given the fact that I still think the matter moot. And what hacker problems?

I do believe he is referring to the person who hacked the ACDG file and sent the passwords.
And Voltaire, I do believe his comments were made in the heat of the moment and should be throroughly and completly dismissed.
