Well, basically what was done in the PTW DG was to have each team appoint three players who could play the turn, who would get the save emailed from the last team. Orders were usually worked out in advance (as this was fairly easy to do most of the time), but had to be worked out after recieving the save during wars and so forth, when working it out in advance was impossible. This (possibly using a team email account so everyone can access the turn) would be the way I'd prefer to do it; Maniac's idea also looks like a good one.

I think each save should be posted on the general forum as a kind of security and logging system - in addition to the above measures. What each team does with the save is up to that team.

I too prefer a forum post."The number of political murders was a little under one million (800,000 - 900,000)." - chegitz guevara on the history of the USSR.
"I think the real figures probably are about a million or less." - David Irving on the number of Holocaust victims.

The initial turn (Hive, 2102) will be posted imminently (I need Voltaire's e-mail addy to send on the team password.
Is this to be the official turn-tracking thread?
To avoid overloading 'Poly's server, a team posting a new turn should go back and edit their previous post to delete the old turn - no?

Re posting turn rules. I think the turn should be sent by email to two/three designated players of the next faction and then one of them posts it in the private forum for member access. They should follow the above rule about deleting earlier attached turns as the game progresses. I think this is more secure than the general forum posting (defections and all that). (The question is can we actually post attachments in our private forums. If not then revert to plan A).
There would be still the obligation to post in the main turn track when the turn was sent to the next team designated player(s). Also any general notifications about holiday breaks , extended leave, Council etc.
