Mongolia attacked me. I am the Assyrians. While fighting the war, some 10 turns into it, I ended a turn and next thing I knew Genghis is offering me some money for some spices. I look at the map and all my forces have been removed from his territory. I look at my messages which say I have made peace with the Mongolians and they have negotiated peace with Vatican City (a friend to my civilization). There was never any mention of peace by either civilization before all of this. I've played Civ for some 20 years and never had this happened.
