What has the thing inside, how much RAM, how much hard disk space? Here are minimum system requirements:

Windows XP SP3
Intel Core 2 Duo 1.8Ghz or AMD Athlon 64 X2 2.0Ghz Processor
2 GB RAM
8 GB free disk space
DVD Drive for disc-based installation
256 MB ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT / nVidia GeForce 7900 GS video card, or Core i3 integrated graphics
DirectX 9.0c-compatible sound card
Internet connection and a Steam account for authentication

If you have this or more, your computer can run it. Well, Windows 7 needs less than that, so I can't answer that without telling us what is inside your computer.

I was feeling generous, so I did a quick Google search. The base model P6710F has essentially zero graphics capability, so it will likely not be able to run Civ5 unless you have or can buy a decent video card. If you got something more than the base model, then this post is completely useless. You really need to post specific components of your computer if you want a better answer.

Just use "System Requirements Lab" Its a website/program that tells you which games your system can and can not run. Very reliable.
