  • Bad Bug on Mac Version

If you make peace with Washington, it becomes a perpetual peace. It never wars off, he will never attack you and you can't force a war no matter what you do, except nukes. This has happened to me twice now so I don't think it is a coincidence, nor has it happened, yet to any other civ. The first time, I was close to getting nukes so it didn't matter. The second, he was the only civ left and I was on knights so it was a long boring game to get to nukes and be able to start a war.

Damn, I bet Saddam Hussein would've wished he had that power

Who started the negotiations? If George did, then it is similar to the pre-.62 bug where AI initiated peace treaties were never-ending. As workaround, refuse their offer and make the offer on your turn. Irritating but no a big deal.

I think I saw it mentioned on some other forum that the mac version hasn't got any of the patches ported yet.

I don't remember who initiated, I'll watch for that.

          Thanks

The .0621 patch came out today for the Mac, which fixes the above (or it should). Looking forward to when Aspyr updates to the current patch.
