Finished a couple games. One last night and another today, I pulled off a science victory late last night. Today I got a cheap time victory but better then losing. The first game, I made it all the way without getting into any wars. The ending was the best! You guys should have seen when I had to escort my SS Cockpit from an island all the way across an ocean. I had 5 destroyers and was scared to death. Worse part, I had only so much time. When I tell you the game was a few turns from a time victory, I mean it. 
I had to declare war on askia just for not signing an open borders. All because my ships would have had to go all the way around and I would have ran out of time. So I had to attack the clown for being a smart a$$. I finally got my cargo ships through at the last minute, landed ashore and moved the SS cockpit into my city to finally complete my spaceship and launch it. Victory!
The second game, just finished a couple hours ago. I picked Japan and aggressively attacked all the countries around other then a few CSs. I had over 20 cities at the ending of the game. England put up a good fight and for a few turns I thought I could be introuble then the tide turns.
These were some fun and memoriable games here, first one I played on archipelago, small map second was continents on a standard me. I can't see how some people don't like Civ5. I been having a good old time with this game.
