No Hotseat?

Used to enjoy running two or three civs in a solitaire game, kinda like playing yourself in chess, but adding in a few random AI. No Hotseat in this release? Mebbe it's coming? Didn't look, but maybe there's a switch in the civ file?

I think it's been clearly stated from the developers that Hotseat and PBEM will not be available. Maybe someone will mod it or something.

They said they're planning on adding additional multiplayer features later. I'm not an expert, but I would presume something like this would be extremely difficult to mod at least until the code is released.
