Saves: Can only get quicksave to work

For some bizarre reason, that I haven't been able to figure out, I can only save via quicksave.

If I want to save my game via the usual save game, nothing happens. I give my save a name, and click "Save Game".....nothing....

Anyone else have this?

I had this... After restart the game, the problem was solved. I think I had to begin another game... But I could return to the first without any further problems.

Yeah, happened to me too first time I played. Once I exited and restarted Civ, that behavior stopped and hasn't started again since.
