What 10 more turns option mean?

I have never selected it, so I do not know.
When AI asks you to attack another AI, you have an option to ask for 10 turns. Does it mean that after those 10 turns AI will start war and you automatically join it?

No, they ask you to join, and you can then say "I changed my mind."

I have no idea what the diplo repercussions of that is, though.

I like it how there are options you can select that influence the AI in some way. I don't know yet if it plays out fine, but it's interesting. It makes it potentially feel more like you're dealing with another human.

I wish that they would put for "socially challenged" people (us gamers ) the ability to see the result, like thumbs/up thumbs down icons (the stronger reaction, the more thumbs to show).

Or better, just show the numerical value of its relation to you, so that you could imminently see the results of your interaction. Why is it OK to see numerical value of unit health, but less OK to see numerical value of civilization relation to you? Why do they hide it from the user?
