    I guess the preload did not work

    Still have a giant download-995 MB.

      They sometimes do not include 100% of all files for pre-load. Just the majority.

        Almost certainly a patch - the Real Zero Day Patch. Or maybe the decryption algorithm from Steam.

          What's taking forever for me is the decrypting of the Steam files. It's at 40% done right now and has been working on it for 5 minutes.

              They didn't release all the files with the pre-load. No .exe files, for instance.

                That DL is the patch. And if you preordered with DLC included, I think that is DLed on first launch.

                        Everything's done here and I'm trying to run the game, but I keep getting an 'Incomplete Installation (3)' error. I'm assuming the servers are overloaded or something, because there doesn't appear to be an issue on my end. I just wanted to get a look at it before going back to work

                        Edit: Apparently I needed to forward some more ports on my router. That was silly.

                          The pre-load did work. Even with it though there is still a gig which has to be downloaded when the game is actually activated.
