I started to vote for WW2, but I think I'm more just looking forward to large, modern-ish battles in general. I expect (hope) them to be very interesting with the new combat system.

Edit: I guess my vote is for any modern era war scenario?

I look just for vanilla Civ. Never cared for scenarios. Does it mean "other" or "bananas"?

Edit: actually I would give a go to Alpha Centauri, if such scenario existed. But then again, it is nearly vanilla, just different game.

Did not play CIV IV because of performance issues
New PC arrived about 13th of August, so CIV IV is finally playable for me! :)

I only like bananas. In truth the only civ scenario I've ever played was the ww2 scenario in civ 2. They're just not something I really enjoy playing.

Banana is like the none of the above options for polls. It's kind of tradition to include a banana option here at poly.

Not a fan of scenarios, but some can be interesting no doubt. But I voted for "World Map with Civs in the right places". That is what I almost entirely play.

I want a remake of After the Apocalypse. That was THE best scenario of all time and forever.

That said, I'd like a GOOD revolutionary war scenario and a Whole World WWII.

And I really hope that a World Map with civs in the right place is NOT a scenario. That should be an option for a normal game.

Scenarios done right are friggin awesome. Scenarios done poorly are a huge waste of time and leave me with a sour taste in my mouth.

The problem with scenarios is that they require just as much if not more knowledge of game design strategy. It requires very careful game balance to avoid "breaking" the system and leaving something like Civ III's use of artillery.

I never play civ scenarios. Mods yes, scenarios no.
