  • The new governance system.

I've noticed some talk about a new and improved governance system in Civ5 but I don't for the life of me know what that might mean. Does anyone know and details on that yet? Also I've heard that religions will be out in vanilla Civ5 but in the gamespot interview Firaxis said they didn't take any features out without replacing them with something new so what will replace religion?

I thought I read that the city states replace religion. (both affect diplomacy).
The new governance system sounds very much like the civic system to me for now.

Advisors have been in every civ since Civ 2.

The "advisors" in civ4 were just screens filled with mostly useless information.

If there were video advisors in CivIV I missed them. Maybe they were only in windowed mode.

I thought it was mentioned that the governance system was going to have its own type of "tree."

Did i dream this, or was this actually mentioned?

                          I'm talking about Civ2's advisers.

People think you meant that they were also in III and IV also. Your 'SINCE' usage confused them.
