you could hex edit the program to make higher difficulty levels.

Oh man, I remember my dad trying to show me how to hex I think I was 12 or something at the time and extremely impressed with my Dad's knowledge.

Your dad taught you hex editing? Damn, I never thought nerds would be able to reproduce

Maybe there's some hope for me yet!

(Wouldn't wanna be my own son though )

She liked wiping out moscow so much that she then went and took berlin. since they hadn't expanded yet, and there were only 3 players, she won the game. in 2720 BC, chieftan difficulty.
Now she's addicted, she can't get enough of civ!!
            another civ addict is born.
Ah yes Civ I is very educational for kids, you can learn so much:
The Pyramids are in Russia, the American civ started in 4000BC and the English used Phalanx military to become a world power.
Hope she don't use this "knowledge" in her history lesson at school.

Ah yes the feel of might and power when you destroy civs for the first time I remember it well. From this point forward I couldn't stop to smash civs and conquer the world.
It's such a good feeling to be the world leader

TRIED to is the operative key word. we used a little calculator that was able to swit to hex mode. He watched me like a hawk on the computer after that. Ever since I've been a terror, always finding ways to break stable programs and operating systems
