I don't know how many of you have a @mac.com e-mail address, but if you don't know, as of yesterday you are on a 75 (now 74) day trial membership with their premium .mac service.
iTools is no more, and in its place all the services they offered are going to cost ~$100 USD per year for proir non-members and ~$50 USD for the first year for those of us who had a @mac.com address.
Of course, they justify this by saying that they're offering more iDisk space and Homepage space... but what of those of us who just are mac fans and use only their @mac.com e-mail addresses?
Should we complain, or just bite our lips and realize that the age of free internet services is a thing of the past?
Opinions? Comments? Suggestions on new, free, e-mail providers?
My thanks.
