What bugs are there in Mac 1.21f??

In my first game with it, once I got my Golden Age, I no longer have had to pay for any Unit Costs.

Golden Age while still despot. No unit costs after transition to Monarchy, either.

            Jaybe:

Heh. If it weren't so unbalancing, that'd be a nice "bug" to keep for the human player. But what are the odds it also affects the AI players?

Anyone else have any details to the "no unit costs" bug?
Do you have it (or is it just me)?
When does it start for you? I had mentioned only when I noticed it.

(Yes, I have reported it, as I described it).

              Any other bugs?

The only thing I'm noticing in my latest game is zero war weariness for all civs. I've not reported it yet because I'm not positive. In the game, I've got tons of luxuries and US so I understand why I'm okay. But, after almost a hundred years of war, the Babs appeared to be fighting w/ out any WW. I never say any of their cities burning, and they stayed in democracy (w/ only 3 spice) until I snuffed them out. Is this because their religious? Seems a stretch. Other civs have been fighting each other as well and all stayed in democracy. My only clue to anarchy of course is the burning city which I never saw a single one.

Other blips are units "hiccup" (sort of jump into the next tile) while moving (say through stack movement) and sound volumes not being saved in preferences (everything else is).

The visual "hiccup" occurs as a unit moves between the left edge and right edge of the map (the horizontal wrap-around). If that is what you are referring to, it also occurs in the Windows version.

I don't believe so. It occurs if I order a stack of, say, 12 south for, say, 5-7 tiles. I notice it anytime a unit is moving on orders, fairly frequently.

I started another 1.21f Open Beta game to try to confirm that 'no units cost' bug starts during a Golden Age. Didn't start on the first turn, but did shortly after my Golden Age start.

Another bug: Enemy unit moved onto my only iron source and I could still initiate Swordsman production on my following turn.

                      I have reported these findings.

May be a stupid question (I know you're an experienced player.), but do you have more than one resource of iron? Have you conquered a city built on iron? Just a thought.

DOH! No, I don't remember checking for that.
OTOH, the next turn they pillaged the road on the iron resource (on a mountain), and 'poof', it was NLA.

I have since found that it isn't my Golden Age that triggers the Unit Cost bug.

Has anyone come up with other apparent bugs?

Current game w/ France in Republic, no free units. I've yet to reach my GA.
