Does anyone know the cheats for the Dos Version?

    Just wondering?

    Thanks

It's ALT-W I N (hold ALT and typw W I N - or is that CTRL, or SHIFT? One of them anyway). That brings up a cheat menu much like in Civ2.
    Consul.

Back to the ROOTS of addiction. My first missed poll!

That's what I get for not reading the title. Anyway, here's a Civ1 cheat for ya!

There's another cheat that doesn't effect the score, but can get you developed really damned quick: the instant improvement cheat. Take a settler, have it irrigate/mine/road/other. Press Tab (so that you get the white box, it might also be "V"), center the box on the settler, and press Enter. The settler will start flashing again, whereupon you again press I/M/R/O. Repeat until the improvement is complete. After you made your improvement, you cannot get the settler to move again until the next turn.

Repeat for every settler on every turn.
