If Civ3 is not going out with mp, then theoretically it's not too late to change it so that mac can play with pc, right? I mean, sure, there would be no LACK of players on the mac side, but it would still be divisive, and I STILL want to play against my friend Ming!

couldn't you play with windows users with ctp1?

I've made the point as clear as I can to the Firaxis guys, so they are definitely aware of the problem. I don't know if that'll be enough though.
