They are slower than the old forum format and those were not quick by any means. Can't easily find an email address either.

Ya, I'm also not a big fan of the new forums. Sure, they're purtty an all, but after the first few days that wore off, and the realisation of how long it always takes to download a single page started to set in. It now seems like a major pain in the ass to come here and try to read a post, let alone even try to post. And I am using the 'lite' version (mind you I'm usinf a 56k modem-ha!).

Simpler, cleaner, less graphics is the way to go! I don't want to waste my time waiting for these damn pages to load, no matter how nice the look (ie. 2-3 minutes per page is a bit much—and there's no photos!!!)

By-the-by, I did get a chance to try viewing this forum on a friends high-speed connection (cable), and it was surprizingly slow loading also.

My biggest gripe is when I try to post a reply. It takes forever to load the damn post page!!! What the hell is up with that? Grrrr...

Anyway, there's my two cents!

well, you can alyways try the old layout. But hey, these forums are a lot faster than the new ones at http://forums.macnn.com
