Don't down load this update until your current games are finished. Just its presence on my hard drive made it impossible for me to open a current PBEM game.

I guess you dindt keep the old 1.2 SMAX? I have both sitting in one directory and am quite happy playing Mac vs. PC

Au contrair, I had 1.2 installed all along. I did not install 1.2.1 but had it downloaded. The next smacx turn I received would not open until I dumped the update. Maybe I should have installed it.

Can you please tell me where to get this update? I managed to locate an update for Alpha Centauri that fixed the OS 9.1 color problem, but I can't seem to find the fix for Alien Crossfire.
