Back here in the hinter lands of Scotland we lift glass to the mighty Persians, and we are glad not to be in the shoes of the Thai. Please, don't bother sending us any gifts from your conquests, like Thai shoes for instance.

Somewhere on a remote deserted airbase in central Persia... Al'Ashin smiled as he closed the last latch on the cargobay doors. The package his engineering crew had just loaded onto the plane was tagged with the highest level of secrecy and security. They had spent months modifying the giant bomber adding extra fuel tanks and adjusting the airfoil to bare the heavier load Central Command had requested. No one knew for sure what lay inside the cargo they had just loaded. The stinking technicians nearly had a fit when his crew dropped the large crate onto the cargo hold's floor. The bomber crew was unusually tight lipped about their mission. He didn't care anyway. His job was done and he looked forward to going back to Babylon and a little civilization. He watched as the great behemoth's engines sputtered as they started, belching clouds of black smoke. The bomber's airframe groaned as it lumbered down the cracked runway taking off into the sunset above the mountain range towards the west and some faroff and unknown location...

The Scottish government's official response to the Persian use of nuclear weapons.

We are outraged by the Persians recent attack. We are opposed to the use of such weapons. The Persian detonation of a nuclear device changes the world order and ushers in a new and dangerous age. Scotland calls for an international organization to control the development and deployment of such weapons.

A private message to the Persian government from that of the Scots.

We warily congratulate you on the deployment of nuclear weapons. We will soon control such weapons ourselves, and like you, will not hesitate to use them.

Yes indeed. The Incan capital needed a wake up call. Our long-range bomber flew across the ocean and drop-launched our Nuke. The Nuke then landed on the Incan capital reducing it to rubble. That will teach them to not ingore our demands in the future. We've got another surprise lined up for the Mayans. Our aircraft carrier, IPN Babylon, has blocaded the eastern Mayan coastline. Another long range bomber is on route to land in the captured Thai capital. If the Mayans continue to defy us we will launch a massive coastal bombardment and drop a nuke on their capital. Our attack submarine, PSS Tigershark, is also prowling the Mayan coast.

The Scots are curious. How many cities do the Persians have on flying carpets above the clouds?

We have one such city. It is currently being used as a high security prison housing Hebrew, Mayan, Thai, Incan, and Indian war criminals.

The Mayan aggression has deeply saddened us. We were forced to once again show the strength of the mighty Persian armed forces. The Mayans thought we had most of our resources funneled towards the Hebrew front. We had an aircraft carrier stationed off the Mayan coast for this very reason. We have crushed any and all Mayan military units within our borders and decimated the Mayan capital with long range strategic bombers. We hope that they come to see reason and agree to a cease fire.

Once again we are gearing up for a massive land invasion. The Mayans must go down. Our aicraft carrier Babylon was sunk by terrorists off the Mayan coast. They will pay!

Your quest for reason is admirable. We find none among the Native Americans and so are teaching them a lesson. We expect to be learning such a lesson ourselves in the near future courtesy of the Persian Empire.

Interesting game! 301 turns in 9 months. Nice job Rue! That's not too shabby considering our luck with previous games.

My final rating was 250%. What did you end up with?

Congratulations on your victory, Ashman. My percentage was a measly 69% Yes, we did well with about a turn per day.
