We're still having problems with the turn being corrupted. I'm working with Rue to resolve the problem.

I have dug through my virtual trash and found the turn sent to me by Jesus x 3. I have replayed it and have sent a new copy to Ashman. I hope that works. I apologize for the slight odor of old banana peels, however.

Meanwhile, back in Greece, Rue has once again united a handful of city states. He is trying to do something about the clothing of his army, however. These beefeater costumes must go. "Tunics are what real fighting men wear," he was overheard mumbling while inspecting the troops.

If it isn't the Portuguese, it's the English. This continent is way too crowded. Time for the Greeks to begin building some big wooden horses. Where's the gift wrap?

The Assyrian empire is growing well and it seems that most of our borders have been "naturally established". Further intrusions will not be tolerated.

It is asked of our allies the Thai, to not settle any further inland as Assyria requires the northern parts of our hinterland as new lands for settling.

The shah of assyria has announced the foundation of the modern assyrian nation this year with the first of a range of powerful ships of the line to be built.

Diplomatic overtures have been made with Greece in the hope of a future alliance. An eco-pact has been asked to begin these first moves.
