A few General questions about macCTP

My game says it is version 1.2 Do I still need the 1.2b patch?

can I use scenarios or add ons for other versions of civ CTP?

can I net play with people using other versions of CTP?

I also have a linux version for my wintel box. It does not require the CD to be in the drive when I play the game. Is this just a linux vs Mac thing or did I just not install the right files to my mac?

1.2b is more stable and fixes a memory leak I believe.

The Mac version requires the CD to be in the drive. Copy protection against the casual pirate. Make a disk image of the CD and you'll be set.
