Anyone think these popup banners are annoying?

I'm not getting the popups - but I agree that would be annoying I wonder why I am not seeing them. I use the iCab browser (www.icab.de) to access Apolyton, which has an excellent spam filtering system. I don't even see banner ads unless I turn them on! It really speeds up surfing. The popups might be Javascript.

I don't get pop-ups on Apolyton, but AOL has suddenly unleashed the beasts in the world of Netscape. iCab or Opera here I come. Now I have to dust off Eudora for email.
