  • Default human player cannot be changed

I have got troubleshooting while playing Lord of the Ring or African Wars scenarii.
Whatever human player I choose, it comes back to the first one (white color) on the second turn.
Both scenarii are converted PC files and both have parts of the map hidden.
Anybody got an idea about solving the problem ?

    Regards,

no matter which civ is chosen it switches the player to the white civ after hitting enter on turn 1.

hmmm....thats a new one to me

what happens if you use cheat/set human player then resume?
The only thing that matters to me in a MP game is getting a good ally.Nothing else is as important.......Xin Yu

So that is what you where saying. Sorry
I have never heard of anything like that either, could it have something to do whit the civ colour values in the rules.txt?
I altered it into having more than three civs whit the same colour once and I got some strange results when loading a scenario whit that rule set (many civs using the same colour became one civ yet two at the same time, etc. The game had loads of trouble trying to determine which civ was which, I never tried to end turn whit these ssettings though, that may result in the problem you are describing).
Check the rules.txt for stuff like this.
Also try removing the rules.txt and see if it runs better whitout it, if it does then the error is obviously in the aformentioned file (this method applies to all files in the scenario folder).
Which version of civ do you use, if it's old try o update and see if the problem like that before...
